SciClone is developing a portfolio of product candidates targeting viral infectious disease and cancer for U.S., Europe, and China.
- For the U.S. and Europe, we are developing our lead product candidate thymalfasin (ZADAXIN) in a nearly completed phase 3 triple therapy HCV trial. After reporting final data from this trial, we intend to finalize our future development plans and regulatory strategy for thymalfasin in HCV and malignant melanoma.
- For the U.S., we are conducting a phase 2 HCV trial for SCV-07 and a phase 2 pancreatic cancer trial for RP101.
- Our lead product ZADAXIN (thymalfasin) generated sales revenues of $37 million in 2007, over 90% of which was sold to China. In China, we plan to launch DC Bead™
for the treatment of liver cancer in the second half of 2008, and are actively seeking to license additional products to broaden our China product portfolio.
